1.变频器的调速原理
交流异步电动机的转速计算公式为:
n=60f(1-s)/p
由公式知,改变电源的频率时,因同步转速n与频率f成正比变化,故异步电动机的转速n也随之改变。可见变频器调速是利用电动机的同步转速随频率变化的特性,通过改变电动机的供电频率进行调速的。
2.变频器的调速方法
变频器是用静止变频装置(晶闸管)构成变频电源对异步电动机进行调速,它采用间接变换方式(交一直一交变频)把交流电通过整流器变成直流电,再用逆变器将直流电变为频率可调整的交流电供给异步电动机。如下图:

3.变频器的优点
3.1节约能源[举例:在泵、鼓风机和引风机的使用中,由公式n=60f(1-s)/p知转速与电源频率成正比,即改变电源频率就可以改变电动机的转速。理论上,流量(风量)与转速的一次方成正比,水压(或风压)与转速的平方成正比,所以轴功率与转速的三次方成正比。可见,与调节阀门相比,调节转速具有十分明显的节能效果。
3.2减少启动时对电网的冲击(无变频器启动时启动电流是电动机额定电流的5~7倍)。
3.3减低噪声,实现电动机的软启动和自由停车。
3.4运行方便、准确,减少了员工的劳动强度。
3.6在泵的使用上消除了泵的喘振现象,使泵处于至佳运行工况状态。
